NEW YORK, NY-(Marketwire - January 4, 2011) - Fueled by Ramen recording group a Projectile to the Moon has announced details of their first-ever North American headline tour.the "On Your Side" tour will launch on March 15th at the Prospect in Poughkeepsie, New York, and so continue through late April (see below itinerary).
ccompanying ARTTM on the 32-city trek will be a multi-artist line-up featuring Valencia, Anarbor, Runner Runner, and Go Radio. Presale tickets will be available beginning January 10th and remaining tickets will go on sale starting January 15th at arockettothemoon.net. the "On Your Side" tour is being sponsored by musicskins.com, who will be offering limited edition a Rocket to the Moon skins for mobile devices during ticket presale and out on the tour. Additional sponsors include the Michigan based clothing company Snakes & Suits and the support a Breast Foundation, a non-profit organization aimed at helping to eradicate breast cancer by educating young people on methods of prevention, early detection and support.
The dates follow the recent issue of a Rocket to the Moon`s acclaimed EP, "THE Rainy DAY SESSIONS."available exclusively via iTunes, the 5-track EP features new versions of songs originally found on the band`s 2009 debut album, "ON YOUR SIDE," recorded with female bluegrass group Larkin Poe and award-winning producer Dan Hannon (Manchester Orchestra).Among the highlights of "THE RAINY DAY SESSIONS" is a nation and bluegrass tinged take on the band`s hit single, "Like We Used to," as easily as a creative cover of Beyonc`s classic "Single Ladies (Put a Mob On It)."
