Hey guys, parawhores all round the world, it's been a long time since my last post here. How are you? Let's talk again about Paramore's song meanings, this time let's talk about Paramore - Stop This Song (Lovesick Melody).

This call is a bonus track on the Japanese version of "Riot".

Here are what Hayley and Josh said in an interview they did with paramorefans.com back in September 2007 :

" Actually my favorite song to babble and record was Stop This Song, there's so many vocal tracks in the bridge (laughs) and I was hanging out with John, is the guy in the studio that I did my vocals with, for the about division and he was like "Are we done? Do you wanna add anything else?"; and I'd be like "Yeah!"; and we ended up adding like (laughing) 70 vocal tracks. Just cause I was having so much fun with it, so...
Josh: Its really all me..
Hayley: Yeah it was really all Josh (laughs)
PF.com: Do you mean you'll ever meet that live?
Josh: Oh yes
Hayley: Yeah we need to, we just gotta figure out...
Josh: First we got to meet the songs that are actually, every song on the record y'know?
Hayley: Yeah...
Josh: Cause they'll be like. "Where did that song come from?" but we definately will, we know that song.
Hayley: Dude I desire so, I need to shape out a way to bet that song where, like I'm not entirely apposed to using. like some tracks depending on what it would be, but I don't wanna sing to like a lot of background vocals. I wanna fingure out a way where we can meet the song like y'know where everything's there but its not like. fake. "

Here's an interesting facts from this song, the functional title of the call was "Avril Lavigne":

The guys in Paramore were unsure having you in the band, having a daughter in the band. How did you finally persuade them ?

" Well it was round the clock when Avril Lavigne had only get out. Right after Avril came out, there were a lot of copy cats, like solo artists, like young girls that kinda looked punky and they were backed by bands but kinda looked like it was their band, but it was truly a cover up band. So I think they were tolerant of afraid that we were gonna get that -that whole comparison. And they were rightly so, because I also looked that way, I wore baggy pants. and I suppose they were just nervous it would feel like Avril Lavigne part 2, but I came over one day into the band rehearsal, just to save with them and as shortly as we all started playing together, we played one of the first songs that we ever wrote which is actually now the song entitled "Stop This Song". It's a bside to Riot. We started playing what we had to that back so and I started singing and Josh ended up being like "Do you need to be in our circle" and I was like "yeah! Of form I do! I want to be in your band since I met you! "
