I own to hold that I`ve not really heard of Paramore until like a few weeks back so that shows that I`m not a big fan of theirs. Didn`t realise that I`ve heard of about of their songs on the radio quite frequently but then, as I never really pay attention to the wireless in-between songs, I never really hear who the singer/band was and the song titles.
The concert started at 8pm with a local band performing and I wholly missed those performances, I merely got into the arena at 8.30pm, luckily I got a nice parking space right at the front of the principal entrance so it wasn`t a charge for me. Even though we had a selection of going downward to the mosh pit (Rock Zone), we decided to go to the higher ground where we can see the whole performance without any interruption and not get pushed and shoved by other `fans`.
Hayley Williams mentioned that they`ve been touring the world playing for 6 days and this is the start time they have a concert in Malaya and how they wished they discovered this country earlier. Well, I ever say, better late than never, and now that Paramore has seen Malaysia, we definitely hope to see more of Paramore in Malaysia.
Paramore performed songs from both their 1st album and the new album to the screaming approval of the 8,000 fans that stormed the Home Bowl in Bukit Jalil. A skillful proportion of rock and ballads to tread the crew but still, quite a total of fans in the Rock Zone can be seen being pulled out of the domain due to fainting spells no thanks to everyone trying to get closer to the stage by way of push and shoving.
For me, this is the 1st concert in Malaysia I`ve been to since 2008 and I would say that it`s a novel to see that we are accepting more and more international acts into our shores and not forcing the Malaysian public to go all the way to Singapore just to see some concert.
Weather wise, it`s freaking hot! I was sweating buckets even just standing there watching the concert. And heed you, I had enough of distance between me and the following person. I would blame it on the humidity of our weather with the haze coming second in from our neighbor.
The certificate for this concert was quite strict compared to many other concerts, even though I got to speak to them for a few minutes, I didn`t get a prospect to make a picture with them and only thing I got off is this signed tag.
Here`s a picture of the song CAREFUL that I care to read from the concert.
Looking ahead to the next concert that will get into our Malaysian shore. Here`s the best thing from this concert, I didn`t see any PAS members creating havoc and petitioning outside the stadium like the Adam Lambert`s concert held only a few years prior to this. Maybe this one is but too tame for them to neutralize any time?
