Josh Farro has broken his silence following his break with rockers Paramore, revealing he and brother Zac decided to resign the ring because they were cast of singer Hayley Williams landing all the spotlight for their success.
The Farro brothers, who founded the radical with Williams and bassist Jeremy Davis in 2004, announced their appearance in Orlando, Florida on December 12 was their conclusion on Saturday.
Williams insisted she was not appalled by their departure, stating, "It hasn`t seemed as if they wanted to be around anymore."And Josh Farro has now come clean about why the siblings hated being involved in the band, claiming Williams was the sole one the heads of the band`s record label cared about.
In a blog post, he writes, "We`ve ever been treated as less significant than Hayley; We toured for two and a half years building our fanbase, pretending to be a set that started naturally.
"In reality, what started as natural somehow morphed into a manufactured product of a major label, riding on the coattails of `Hayley`s dream.`"
And Farro insists the changes that were made to the group`s latest album was the final straw for him and his brother.
He adds, "We fought her about how her lyrics misrepresented our set and what we stood for, but, in the end, she got her way. Instead of fighting her any longer, we decided to simply roll over and let it go.
"Hayley claimed that this record reunited us as (a) band and made us grow closer together, when in reality, we were all growing further apart."
